Registered Veterinary Technician

Courtney graduated from the University of Guelph in 2012 with a degree in Animal Biology and the aspirations of completing her masters in Animal Nutrition. After almost a year working as a nutritional assistant at Elmira Pet Products she decided that deskwork was not her calling and she needed animals in her day-to-day life. This is when she applied to the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College. In 2015 she graduated and immediately completed her national exam to become a registered veterinary technician. Courtney also works part time as an equine technician with a mobile veterinarian and at her family’s golf course. On her spare time, Courtney enjoys riding/showing her gorgeous Arabian horse Chance, going for hikes with her St. Bernard Vera and snowboarding. Along with these two very fury loves of her life she also has Skye, the true queen of the house, her 10-year-old mackerel tabby cat.
